Kameng Welfare Society
Kameng Welfare Society is a Non Government non-profit making development association registered as a society. Registration Act of Society registration 1860 created with a mission to promote creative and effective solution to problems that impede social development, primarily in East Kameng in the state of Arunachal Pradesh.
Kameng Welfare Society is started with an aim to abolish the commercialization and exploitation of women and young girls and provide them with safe shelter, food, handloom and handicraft, education and vocational training. It provides shelter home for destitute children and initiates training programs on stitching and embroidery for needy girls & women.
The Association focuses on a small number of specific development problems by forming intellectual and financial partnerships with minority of women’s sharing its objectives. It concentrates on selected issues in health, education, rural and Tribal minority development and the enhancement of NGOs.
Our Mission
Our NGO is committed to social justice, sustainable development and human rights. The right to communicate freely is a basic human rights and a necessity for sustainable development. Access to information is essential to informed decision making at all levels

Strengthen community organization by boosting its knowledge base and its ability to share information and experiences with strategic allies and other partner’s irrelevant field. Capacity building of grassroots level NGOs and social workers.
