Painting Exhibition
On the eve of Independence, we organized an emboss painting exhibition on 14" and 15th of August, 2018. The paintings are done by the students of our school `Yangsey Model School'. The initiative was raised to discover the inbuilt talents of the children.
Income generation Programmes
Our organization identify women from local area for training purpose in Rice Cake production, while having training and producing items, some quantity of Rice Cake was made by beneficiaries and then sold in exhibition which was arranged by our NGO.
Self Help Group
The main objective of the programme was to sensitize women of target area for the need of SHG and its relevance in their empowerment process, to create group feeling among women, to enhance the confidence and capabilities of women, to develop collective decision making among women
Awareness on women education and women health
On 26th of January 2019, we organized a seminar to make women aware about health care during pregnancy, proper nutrition during adolescence, health care of newborn babies and mothers etc.
Knitting and Weaving Training Camp
This is facilitation-cum training centre, and the women are here to be trained in a skill-set that lies at the core of traditional society-weaving. It is an art that is slowly disappearing from what was once a village-society. The women are here to revive tradition, and thereby make a living too.
Midday Meal Programme
We run a school under the name "Yangsey Model School." On 5 th September 2018, a midday meal programme was held at our school where we provided lunch to our school children where food was prepared in a very hygienic manner in our school.
