Embossing refers to the creation of an impression of some kind of design, decoration, lettering or pattern on another surface like paper, cloth, metal and even leather, to make a relief. In regular printing or an engraving, plates are pressed against the surface to leave an imprint. In embossing however, the pressing raises the surfaces adding a new dimension to the object.

On the eve of Independence, we organized an emboss painting exhibition on 14″ and 15th of August, 2018. The paintings are done by the students of our school `Yangsey Model School’. The initiative was raised to discover the inbuilt talents of the children. Extracurricular activities also help students to expand their network, which is beneficial for finding career opportunities after graduation.
